A 400-bed Multi-specialty Hospital is being setup at Gaziabad, Uttar Pradesh by Crosslay Remedies Pvt. Ltd. which was incorporated in 2002 and subsequently acquired by Pushpanjali group of Companies in 2005.
With a site area of 13879.05 sq.m., and a total built up area of 40300 sq.m., the Site is located on National Highway no. 24 and is 5 km from railway station and 35 km from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is designed to have the latest state-of-art medical facilities.
Proper segregation between pedestrian & vehicular movement is provided within the complex. Seasonal planting provided encourages people to get outside when weather permits. The layout of the garden is easily readable to minimize confusion for those who are not functioning well. Flowers and vegetables are planted in raised beds to create ease of maintenance and easier access by visitors with limited mobility. Pathways are contrasted with planting areas to help define the boundary between path and plantings for patients with reduced depth perception.
The third floor terrace is converted to terrace garden using interesting paving patterns. The Service oriented projections of Air Handling Units (AHU) are aesthetically designed into planters with colorful planting. An outdoor extension of children's plays area is specially focused on using abstract elements like the sun within the paving appealing to the children. Major emphasis is laid on the overall lighting to provide an ever-changing ambiance.
